A2 | Eversion (Eccentric) - Band


To increase the tendon stengtH of the peroneals with eccentric movements. Useful for tendinopathies or in early stages of acute tendon injury

Instructions

Fix a double or single band to a pole. Start with no tension on the band and evert your foot (moving it outwards). Move the other foot away to increase the band tension whilst maintaining eversion. MOve the whole leg away from the anchor point to increase the tension as needed. Slowly let your foot invert (move inwards) until your foot is completely into inversion.

Special Notes
Make sure you do not dirsoflexion your foot through the movement - keep it in slight plantar flexion to avvoid using the tibialis anterior.
