This 16-week Ankle injury and surgery rehabilitation program is for people who have suffered an ankle injury such as a mild, moderate or severe ankle sprain, ligament tears or ruptures and peroneal tendon strains.

It is also ideal for those who have conditions such as ankle instability, chronic stiffness and weakness, ankle and foot fractures and following ankle ligament reconstruction or arthroscopy.

It has the most effective and progressive physio rehabilitation exercises, guiding you over 16 weeks to return to sport status. Within each week and exercise you will be advised on the best equipment to use and instructed on the right technique and cueing.

Usually, ALL ankle injuries result in a loss of joint stability and control. This compounds the weakness from the tissue damage and affects balance, confidence and neuromuscular strength in the ankle. The common mistake is that people only work on flexibility and calf strength, missing the essential component of the rehab program - which is the stability training.

Restoration of joint stability and improving the control pathways can be the difference to returning to sport successfully or simply suffering a re-injury of the ankle. This needs to be done in a progressive manner, adding difficulty and load carefully as the weeks progress post-injury.

Surgical protocols and return to sport testing needs to be in the form of the right exercises that continually challenge and improve your strength and agility to allow you to achieve the best possible long term outcomes.

You will be guided through a 6 stage, 16 week program with all the latest and most effective exercises to rehabilitate an injuyred or post-surgical ankle. Exercises are in order of progression with detailed instructions, reps and sets, as well as educational videos to help correct your form and technique.

Learn More  Have no UNDISPLACED ankle fracture.

Learn More  Have no current ankle, leg or foot fracture that requires surgrical fixation and;

Learn More  Have no Grade 3 ligamentous rupture that is acute (less than 6 weeks) and;

Learn More  Be no less than 1 week post-injury and;

Learn More  If you have had surgery, you must be allowed to weight-bear in a Walker boot and/or be 6 weeks post-operative.
